Not a day goes passed without some big organization or government organization banning Microsoft Vista from their networks.
Does that imply that Vista is horrible and should be avoided at all costs?
Not really. All that it says is that these organizations want to control their networks, know what is loaded on them and in a very systematic and planned way control any changes to it.
My personal experiences with Vista leads me to recommend that people wait until the majority of software has been updated to work with Vista. In my experience very few of the tools I use on a daily basis actually worked in Vista without some funny behavior. This includes some of Microsoft’s own tools.
